Manitoba and Prince Edward Island (PEI) have conducted their latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, inviting eligible candidates to apply for permanent residence. These draws highlight the continued demand for skilled workers, international graduates, and business investors across both provinces.
Manitoba PNP Draw – February 2025
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued invitations under three key streams:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba – Candidates with ongoing employment in the province and a strong connection to Manitoba received invitations.
- International Education Stream – Open to recent graduates from Manitoba institutions with eligible qualifications.
- Skilled Workers Overseas – Candidates with strong ties to Manitoba (such as family connections or previous study/work experience) were invited.
Cut-off scores and the number of invitations issued will be updated once released by Manitoba immigration authorities.
Prince Edward Island PNP Draw – February 2025
The PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) also conducted its latest draw, inviting candidates from two streams:
- Labour Impact and Express Entry Streams – Candidates with employment ties to PEI and strong profiles under Express Entry received invitations.
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Stream – Select candidates looking to invest in and operate a business in PEI were invited.
PEI follows a pre-scheduled draw system, and this latest round continues the province’s focus on skilled workers and entrepreneurs.
What’s Next for Invited Candidates?
- Candidates who received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) must submit their full PNP application within the given deadline.
- Successful nominees will receive a provincial nomination, adding 600 points to their CRS score if they are in the Express Entry system.
- Those with provincial nominations can apply for permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
