The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), commonly known as the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), conducted fourteen draws in December. A total of 1,043 candidates received invitations across various streams. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores for the invited candidates ranged between 43 and 65.
One of the important draws took place on December 17, 2024. It focused on the Dedicated Health Care Pathway under the Express Entry system. Fourteen invitations were issued with a minimum score of 47. On December 16, Alberta invited 110 candidates through the Alberta Express Entry Stream, with a minimum score requirement of 50.
Multiple rounds were held on December 13. The Alberta Opportunity Stream invited 147 candidates with a minimum score of 50. The Law Enforcement Pathway under the Express Entry system invited four candidates, requiring a score of 48. The Tourism and Hospitality Stream also issued 11 invitations to candidates scoring 60 or higher.
On December 12, Alberta conducted two draws. The first invited 260 candidates through the Tourism and Hospitality Stream with a minimum score of 65. The second draw concentrated on Priority Sectors within the Alberta Express Entry Stream, issuing 11 invitations to candidates with a score of at least 50.
Several targeted draws were held on December 11. The Priority Sectors Pathway invited 39 candidates. The Dedicated Health Care Pathway, both Express Entry and non-Express Entry categories, invited 19 candidates with scores ranging from 43 to 52. The Accelerated Tech Pathway draw issued 87 invitations to candidates with a minimum score of 59.
The Alberta PNP also held draws on December 10 and December 4. The December 10 draw invited 262 candidates through the Priority Sectors Pathway, requiring a minimum score of 65. The December 4 draws targeted healthcare professionals under Express Entry and non-Express Entry streams. 79 invitations were issued, with scores between 47 and 49.
Candidates receiving invitations must submit their letters and documents to the AAIP within two weeks. Failure to do so will render the invitation void. Alberta typically conducts three to five draws monthly, and updates are posted one week after the draws are held.
