Prince Edward Island (PEI) has once again opened its doors to skilled workers seeking permanent residency in Canada. In a recent draw under the province’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), invitations were issued to candidates who meet the labor market needs of the province.
The draw, held on May 16, targeted candidates in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. A total of 156 invitations were issued to skilled workers with experience in high-demand occupations. These workers, including those with experience in sectors such as healthcare, technology, and hospitality, are seen as essential to supporting the province’s growing economy and diverse workforce.

This significantly increases their chances of obtaining Canadian permanent residency.
