In the latest draw held in August 2025, candidates across multiple sectors received invitations to apply for provincial nomination. The invited individuals were selected from key occupational categories, reflecting Newfoundland and Labrador’s focus on addressing workforce shortages in essential industries.
The targeted sectors in this round included healthcare, technology, engineering, early childhood education, and skilled trades. These occupations align with the province’s demand for workers in areas critical to its development and demographic sustainability.
