Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its first Expression of Interest draw of August on August 7, 2025—officially Draw #251—issuing 37 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways.
To qualify, applicants needed a minimum MPNP score of 724 and had to be directly invited as part of a strategic recruitment initiative. Here’s how the invitations were distributed:
Employer Services: 15
Francophone Community: 19
Regional Communities: 1
Ethnocultural Communities: 2
Notably, 7 of the 37 LAAs were issued to candidates who had valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes, enhancing their pathway to Canadian permanent residency.
This draw continues Manitoba’s strategic focus on diverse recruitment segments, emphasizing both language communities and regional needs, while aligning with national immigration priorities.
